The Fading Beauty of Indian Signs

I am a little short on time today so I thought I’d share something more akin to a photo essay.

I don’t think I am alone in my love for the fact that so much of the signage and graphics in India are hand-painted. I love all of it. It is mostly written in Hindi so I can’t be distracted by the meaning of the signs – what they actually say doesn’t matter to me. I just find them all beautiful.

I actually do know what the sign above says because I asked my good friend in India, Sonu. Apparently it says ‘Kalpana Medicine. Blood Pressure and Sugar Test’.
